Tênis e Cidadania 2021.12.0067 - Minas Gerais State Sports Incentive Law
- Description
- The "Tênis e Cidadania" (Tennis and Citizenship) project is an initiative of Fortini Investimento Social, in partnership with the Sports Incentive Law of the State of Minas Gerais. Its goal is to provide access to sport and promote the social and educational development of public school children and teenagers through tennis and beach tennis.
- How does it work?
- The project runs outside school hours and offers regular sports activities for students aged 7 to 16, combining tennis with psychosocial and pedagogical support. The actions aim not only to develop physical skills but also to promote social inclusion, improve school performance and support families.
- Duration: 17 months
- Target audience: Public school children and teenagers, with priority for low-income students.
- Location: Belo Horizonte metropolitan area (RMBH).
- Activities
- Tennis and beach tennis classes (twice a week).
- Group and individual psychological support, as needed.
- Monitoring and pedagogical meetings to reinforce school performance.
- Special events:
- Opening class to engage participants and partners.
- Sports festival with awards to celebrate the students' progress.
- Uniforms for participants and staff.
- Available spots
- Total participants: 100 children and teenagers.
- Distribution:
- 4 beach tennis classes (12 students each).
- 3 tennis classes (10 to 11 students each).
