We are Fortini Social, a Brazilian nonprofit organization that, since 2016, has promoted access to holistic education, sports and culture for public school students in the Belo Horizonte metropolitan area: Contagem, Betim, Ibirité, Sarzedo, Belo Horizonte and Mário Campos.
We provide transformative education for children and teenagers attending public schools in the Belo Horizonte metropolitan area.
We recognize the essential role schools play in shaping the citizens of tomorrow. That is why public schools are our first partners in bringing structured access to sports and culture to their students. At the same time, we run social-emotional development activities for the students and provide social work support for their families. We believe in a multidisciplinary approach, so that every child or teenager served by Fortini can reach their full potential.

For us, the hexagon symbolizes how central working as a network is to our method. Our social projects follow a methodology that puts educational and social development side by side, using sports, cultural and social-emotional development workshops as tools to improve the physical and academic performance and the self-esteem of every child and teenager taking part in our workshops.

Fortini has been a partner in the students' emotional and cognitive development, and the difference shows in their behavior. They are more focused and aware that, as teenagers growing up, they need to take responsibility for their future.
Fortini is very important in Cristiellen's life, because it contributes a lot to her school performance and her health, and with that she became more responsible; today she is a happier child!! Fortini fully supports her life with psychological and pedagogical support and other help with her difficulties. Fortini provides access to sports usually reserved for the wealthy, which would be out of reach for low-income students without the project. The activities build the children's self-esteem and boost their learning.
